After working in a salon setting for a few years, I decided that making guests feel their best would be the career I’d enjoy. I love meeting and creating new relationships with all kinds of people. Seeking growth and challenges in my personal life made me realize that doing hair would be right for me because this industry has endless opportunities as a stylist. I’m born and raised in Las Vegas and have been working in the hair/beauty industry since 2014. I love someone with a good sense of humor and really love animals! 3 great ways to help create healthier looking hair

3 great ways to help create healthier looking hair after a blonding service:
1. Use a weekly STRENGTHENING mask after shampooing and leave it on for at least 5-10 minutes...Our fav's are Olaplex, Strength Cure from Pureology, Extreme by Redken
2. Apply a professional multi benefit spray and a pump of oil throughout damp hair before styling
3. Stay away from ALL hot tools as much as possible...even consider washing your hair at night and styling once dry in the morning. If you must use them though, keep all settings on warm versus hot, and temperatures below 330-350 degrees depending on your hair's coarseness.

“let’s talk #unfiltered for a minute. as
an esthetician, i have heard for years:
“your skin is your canvas” and “your
clients will book with you based on
what your skin looks like”. so when i
developed adult acne a couple years
ago, i was terrified to present my
skin to my guests because i thought i
would lose their trust. being an
esthetician means i should have all
the answers to helping clients with
their skin, right? so why couldn’t i fix
my own? taking care of your skin is
hard, and even an esthetician
struggles with the neccessary
consistency needed to allow
products to work and i still need help
from my dermatologist. i have stress
and hormonal acne, trapped
comedones causing texture on my
forehead, scarring on my lip from
years of picking at cold sores/
pimples, acne along my hair line and
sideburns, and random spots of redness from who knows what. i have
days where i don’t feel confident and
pile on concealer. but i still love my

Maintenance Extensions require maintenance appoint

Maintenance
Extensions require maintenance appointments, or a “move up”, every 4-6 weeks. Because your natural hair continues to grow while you have extensions in, move ups are required to maintain the cohesive look that allows the extensions to blend in with the rest of your hair. During maintenance appointments, the extensions are removed and replaced back at the top of the hair. In total, the life span of hair extensions ranged between 6-8 months before a new set of hair needs to be purchased.
K-Tip extensions are the only extension type that cannot be reused. K-tip extensions use a bonding process that can only be used once during the initial installation. While the wear lasts the longest at 12-16 weeks, they cannot be rebonded and require a new purchase of the hair when they need to be replaced.
Extension wearers typically wash their hair 1-2 times per week– it helps the hair last longer and it decreases your blowdry and styling time. Extension hair holds a curl very well and is easy to braid and wear wavy– the styling options are endless!
Because extension hair is not living hair, it’s essential to properly care for the hair using appropriate products. We recommend the following:
Sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner and a weekly hair mask. Sulfates can dry out extensions, so it’s recommended to avoid products that contain sulfates. Sulfate-free products will help the hair maintain moisture and properly protect it, while also ensuring the bonds are strong.
Dry shampoo. This will help extend the period of time between washes while still providing nourishment to the hair.
Hair oil. Extension hair tends to be dry, so we highly recommend using a hair oil to maintain moisture and keep the hair looking and feeling strong and nourished. We recommend using an oil on the ends of your hair once a day.
A brush intended to work with extensions. Extensions need to be brushed at least twice a day, and using an extension-friendly brush will reduce the risk of snagging or weakening the bond.
